This is Pilcrow + Pixel
We spend our days designing and building beautiful, user-friendly websites (that's the Pixel part) and ensuring their content is clearly written and coherently structured (which is the Pilcrow bit). We considered a glossy introduction here with a self-assured slogan, some bewildering digital jargon and a huge photo of a shiny open-plan office, but we can’t stand buzzwords and we're far too messy.

We like:
- Attention to detail. We're ridiculously scrupulous about every detail in both design and content, whether that's the precise height and width of some pixel padding or the exact placement of a semi-colon in a long paragraph. Such behaviour is a sure sign that we should really get out more.
- Elegant minimalism. Our approach to web design is realistic and human-focused, because we understand that a stark, austere look and feel doesn't appeal to all audiences. Though we're not about to roll out the dancing pink bunny GIFs either, no matter how much you ask.
- Thoroughly engaged and engaging clients. We're hoping that means you. Why not get in touch with us to discuss plans for your new or refreshed web presence? (That was our poor attempt at a 'hard sell'.)
We’re not so keen on:
- Digital jargon. That's why we don't have a "mission statement" describing how we "orchestrate the symbiosis of bleeding-edge online experiences to seamlessly facilitate viral content interfacing with multiple platforms". Utter gobbledygook.
- Confusing websites. Because we've all realised by now that life is far too short to spend it endlessly scrolling and tapping through bewildering multi-item menus and sub-sections of sub-sections of even more sub-sections.
- Annoying pop-ups with unpleasantly pushy messages. Especially when the user then has to narrow their eyes to spot the tiny 'close' icon displayed in a light grey shade on a white background.
