A warm and welcoming site for a newly launched dementia charity
Dance For Life is a new charity whose aim is to help people living with dementia to improve their wellbeing through dance movement. Having run a successful pilot programme with their partners Dementia Pathfinders and Re:Bourne (the charitable arm of Matthew Bourne’s dance company New Adventures), the trustees approached us to design and build a site explaining more about their work and plans for their future development.
I found Pilcrow + Pixel extremely efficient and pro-active. They created an excellent website for our charity, responded to each request for a change of elements with immediacy and patience, and generally were very pleasant to deal with.

The warm and friendly look and feel of the site grew out of the work that had previously been carried out on Dance For Life‘s evaluation report, which featured a series of fantastic photographs of the project’s participants taken by Alicia Clarke. The design echoes the bright colours of the original brand, while the site’s content will grow as the charity does.
We are providing our Website Care Plan of consultancy, support and maintenance for Dance For Life‘s site, as well as hosting it on Pilcrow + Pixel’s servers.
